    Please implement a setting to turn off link previews immediately or make a prior apk available. I hate this new "feature."

  2. make new weblink snippet optional

    I'm not a fan... it takes up too much space in a chat window, it slows my phone and it is a security risk as someone can send me a malicious url and it will cause my phone to open it.

  3. Stop including preview for links

    When I try to send a link in my texts now it shows a preview of the page. I don't see any setting to turn this behavior off. Please add a way to turn this off. It's the worst

  4. Note 8

    Love my textra but NEED it to work with the new Note 8 to send LIVE MESSAGES an added feature on the Note 8. Will not send them from textra I have to used the Samsung message application and I hate it.
    Please add this feature.

  5. "Snippets" as User-Selectable Option

    The new pre-rendered "snippets" feature for URLs is a nice addition. But PLEASE make inclusion of these "snippets" a user-selectable OPTION, so that they may also be DISABLED if desired – e.g., some recipients cannot receive MMS... or it's convenient to minimize the amount of touch-scrolling necessary in the conversation window... etc...

  10. Samsung Live Messages

    Can you please add support for Samsung's live messages available on the note 8? For some reason, sending fails through Textra but works fine in the stock Samsung messages app.

  11. Disable snippets

    I can see the use but I don't like them and would very much like to turn them off, they just look ugly and often ruin the surprise of a fun link to or from a friend

    Unable to send live messages created on note 8 .. Every other mms goes through except the live messages, seems like textra is unable to compress them .. AT&T

    I love weblink pre-rendered 'snippets' , but even though I know what I sent, it would be cool if I had the option of still continuing to see it. Add it as an option.

  16. Enable-able snippet preview

    They took it out for sent messages because "you know what you sent". But I would like an option to turn that back on. I send a lot of stuff, and when referring back to the messages there's no way I'll remember what everything was. Someone suggested an option to disable. Instead they removed it altogether (for sent). I would like an enable-disable option so I can choose.

  18. Option to disable links parsing

    Please remove it or make an option to disable parsing links in sms! This is really annoiyng thing.
    When I get sms from my bank with some link it takes too much space on screen.

  19. Custom weblink pre-rendered 'snippets'

    We should be able to choose if we see these snippets at all, I understand why some people like them but personally I might enjoy just turning them off completely.

    My idea is to add an option to turn snippets on/off for both sent links and received.
    (sent links could just remain always off, it's true, we already know what we sent)

    The link preview feature is incredibly annoying. I'll probably switch to another app if we can't disable it
