I've like a feature to swipe and archive a conversation or just long press for options to archive.

today there is a lot of smartphones with dual SIM card, it would be helpful to select a default SIM or SIM ask since sending SMS

Message Read/Seen Report
Ability to know when the message has been seen and also if and when the other person is responding to your messages like on iphones and fb messenger. This is different and more advanced than just the delivery report.

Spam folder / Spam phrases
I often receive spam messages coming from different numbers every time so blacklisting specific numbers isn't very helpful. But basically they have common words in them ("condo unit for sale", "bank loan", etc.) so it would really be fantastic if the app can block or store in a spam folder those that contain words that the users do not wish to deal with. It's the one feature in the default android messenger that i love, but that was too slow so i switched to textra.

archive instead of delete
I would like to archive messages instead of deleting them when I swipe right. Sometimes I need to go back on a conversation but don't want it clogging up my inbox.

Reminders!
Allow reminders to be set for individual messages so that we can be reminded to follow up on the message at a later, more convenient time. Automatically set these messages as unread again.

Save & Restore Textra Settings
I've had multiple occasions where I needed to reinstall Textra or I get a new phone and download Textra. There should be a setting where you can save your settings as a file and you can restore your settings with that file in the app.

copy portions of text in a message instead of only being able to copy the whole message.
it would be incredibly helpful to highlight and copy specific world or sections of text in one message. at this time only the whole message can be copied.

different color bubbles for individual people in a group messages and have options to change each persons color.
most messenging apps do this. makes group messages easier to read. Also an option to have their bubble color be locked to their specific bubble color.

Heads-up quick reply
With the new notification of Marshmallow and Android N (soon) I believe it's high time for heads up quickreply to be added as a notification option.

SDK Integration with Yappy
I think that all other SMS/MMS apps are inferior to Textra but I haven't been using it because of the support for Yappy. Any chance of using the SDK integration for Yappy so that Textra works fully with Yappy?

sending pictures
it would be nice if I could actually send a picture from my gallery instead of getting the message "message content is too large". Change the app so we don't have to take the same picture in the app because chances are the moment has already passed where we cannot take that second unnecessary picture.
