Android m and google keyboard
Android M preview and google keyboard bug with textra. When you go into a SMS conversation and the keyboard pops up, the message won't show on top of the keyboard, it stays behind it and you won't see what you are typing. If you change between keyboards you can trigger it to go on top. It works on other SMS apps so its textra that needs fixing.

Quick compose favourites now shows full name only one contact per row
What happened to displaying only favourites photos in a row in quick compose? It now shows the full name and number, one contact per row.
The icon only shortcuts was much more user friendly. Could we have an option for how to display?3 votes -

Hide keyboard by swiping up like in hangouts
Swipe up in the screen and the keyboard goes down, instead of pressing the key to hide the keyboard. Hangouts app allows that and I use it all the time.

option to give each contact, your conversion with them, their own color and notification sound.
Like Googles messenger app, when I open a conversation that persons conversation is it's own color... Example, my main theme color is purple but when I open my messages with Tom, it is orange within our conversation, or red for Diane.

'Limbo'area for delayed text
Unable to start typing another message after setting a x second delay. It would be nice to have it pop up to a limbo area with an x next to it for cancel, and be able to work on the next message

Option to disable swipe actions on contact list
Or at least change what they do so you don't delete a 5000-long message history

create password and username for backup reasons.
Create password and username so if the app gets deleted you can log back into the app and still have all of your texts.

Two different light message backgrounds would be nice.
Two different light message backgrounds would be nice. I prefer dark text on light background but out of the 42 colors only one supports black text (in spite of some of them being fairly light), so both received and sent messages look identical.

One touch options menu
The new menu that appears after single tapping on a text is great! To have the option to forward and copy the message so easily is nice! However, it makes it is strange to me that you included a "more..." option to allow users to see other common options such as "copy message text," etc. You should incorporate all options into the black pop-up menu for ease of access. It would be easy to add a sliding menu layer with all those options.

Make an option for one person to stay on top of message list
It's easier to set specific people at the top of list so you don't have to scroll through to find them

how about an option to edit scheduled messages before they go out instead of having to delete them and schedule a new one?
So when you have a message queued for sending at a later time, and you decide to add to it or edit it in some way before it's sent, there's an option for that

Please add swipe right to delete and undo option (like gmail) rather than having to slide and then tap to delete
You currently have to swipe, then tap the trash can to delete. It should be deleted with the swipe only. Add a floating "undo delete" somewhere which will disappear when user advances to next step.
