In Textra > Settings > Customize Notifications > Press on the word Android Settings > (Advanced) Sound > Ringtone.

2. Per contact notification settings

Long hold on any contact in the chat list screen > 3 dots (top right) > Customize > Notifications > Press on the word Android Settings > (Advanced) Sound > Ringtone.
