Please define your groups in your Android Contacts / Peoples application on your device. Textra SMS will then pick up your groups from there.

In Textra SMS, press floating new message icon > Contacts icon (top right) > Groups > Select > Tick Icon.

Also within the Textra SMS on any group chat screen > press down arrow top right > pencil icon to rename any group.
