When a new message arrives, the 'Later' option in the menu is useful and a feature I've not seen in other SMS apps. However, I think it could be made better still. My problem with the current feature is that the notification remains in the tray, and the notification light keeps on flashing, so when I glance at my phone I can't tell if I've missed a new notification or if it's the original message that I want to deal with later. And sometimes later can mean many hours later, e.g. when I get home from work.
Could this function be changed, or at least have an option, so that the message is completely snoozed for a given time, disappearing from the notifications until the time elapses, when it would reappear with either the new message sound or a different reminder alert sound? Perhaps with a reminder symbol or text to avoid any potential confusion of thinking it's a new message? Ideally, there would be snooze presets (e.g. 10/30/60 mins, 1 day etc) and a custom snooze time option with date/time picker.
This would be a killer feature (and USP as far as I'm aware) so please consider! And thanks for making such a good app in the first place. :)
