Add number to contacts!

When someone not on my contact list sends SMS to me, there is no option to add the number to my contacts, only to delete it or call it. Why isn't there an option to add to contacts?

    ditto! Surely a simple oversight...why has this not been quickly and easily corrected?!

    Right now I have to hit dial then quickly cancel the call then switch to the phone app to add the number to my contacts.
