Add/Remove Contact from Group Text
Use case: I'm on a 4 way group text and want to add additional people (or remove someone) without having to start a new thread. Seems Textra could do this automatically, and abandon the old thread. Would really increase the functionality of this awesome app, and I think you'd be the first to offer it on Android.

Set your group up in email. Use Textra and select that group. When u want to add or delete modify it in Gmail.

Came here for this same reason. Crazy they haven't don't anything to address it. I've used them for at least 6 years and paid for pro. I guess it's time to find a new app

I would love this feature also. It's so time consuming to keep creating different group text and customizing it just to add or remove people.

It looks like this problem has been around for a long time and Textra is not interested in developing a solution. While I really like Textra, this is enough to find another SMS program.

I totally agree!! We need the ability to ADD people to an EXISTING group text thread as well as DELETE someone from and EXISTING group text. This is a must feature and as all major text app has this feature, let's get it together Textra!!!

I completely agree with all the others. This is a feature that is essential. I love the app as well with the exception of this.

The person who started the group text included someone's landline. When I reply to the group I then get a message from my carried telling me the message can't be delivered (duh) How do I remove this number from the group text?

Still can't do this and it is very frustrating. I'm about ready to switch as a result which is a shame because everything else about the app is great.

I can't believe Textra has not added this feature. People have been asking for it since 2014... 6 years!! It's obvious they aren't going to. I'm switching to another app. They suck.

I am trying to use Textra and had set up a group. I now need to remove one person and add one. I can't believe teher is no way of doing it but can't find out how to do so!
