this is critical. stock Android messaging app supports it, so why not Textra? (Samsung S21 5G Ultra) we need to add/remove recipients as a built in feature: it's inadequate to resort to manually starting a new thread for this OS-native feature. thank you!

Yes please! Add the ability to remove yourself from a group message. The crowd would go wild. People are screaming for this everywhere. I thought this app had this functionality which is why I downloaded it. Bummer.

Yes, the native Samsung text app has this but I had previously contributed to Textra and was disappointed this feature isn't available. Would be a very useful feature!

Agree 100%. This would be awesome. I'd love to see the ability to remove yourself from a Group Chat as well.
