false notifications.
this isn't really an idea but I'm getting false notifications that appear after I recently send a contact a message.
a message from earlier in the stream will pop up when no new message has been received. not a huge deal but wanted to mention it. and didn't know where to type it exactly. - nexus 5x

It's happening to me as well, except there are no messages. I deleted the entire thread, force closed the app & rebooted the (brand new) phone. No help.
