Sending duplicate SMS issue

Textra sends duplicate SMS frequently. Why is this and is there a fix for it? I will have to move away from the app if this doesn't get fixed.

    Having same issue. Seems to have happened after my phone upgraded to Marshmallow. Also, seems to be issue with group chats
