After travelling to a new time zone, texts are still timestamped with the old zone

I have travelled to Chicago. After landing, I sent a text, but the timestamp shows Philadelphia time.

    This sounds like a useful feature request for people who travel frequently. When moving between time zones, timestamps should ideally reflect the device’s current local time rather than continuing to display the previous zone. An automatic time-zone update would make conversations much easier to follow, https://dubaiuncover.com/ particularly when traveling internationally or switching between locations.

    I have the same problem. I went from US to England and the times updated okay. Now I am 1 hour ahead in France and even though the phone time is correct the text time stamps are 1 hour behind.

    Perhaps it is using the recipient's timezone?
