Textra companion app for Gear S2
I hope it is in the works for future Gear S2 (powered by Tizen) support. I have it so that I can accept and respond to notifications, but I would like an app/widget on my Smartwatch that sends a message instead of just a reply.
Nonetheless, I love your app and can't go back to messages.

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Gear S2. I can get notifications and reply from the watch from, Samsung's native Messaging app, and Google Messenger app, but no luck from yours. Is it not compatible? Please fix. I've been looking for a SMS app that competes with the animations from IOS messaging app and I finally found yours. I would hate to stop using your app just because it's not compatible with my watch.

I just updated my Gear S2 today. Before this, I could get texts and respond to messages from Textra, but now I don't even get a notification! I really don't want to stop using Textra because of a stupid watch update...

I agree with Hall and Ryan. I'm forced to use Messages which i'm not completely in love with, but I'm dealing with it because I want to be able to use it with my S2. Textra is my preferred texting app, but I have abandoned it for the sake of my S2.

I agree. I want to be able to view my texts on my Gear S2. It sounds like I can if I allow the message details to be viable in the popup on my phone. My phone is sometimes in view of others, I don't want them to be able to read my texts unless they can unlock my phone.
Samsung just gave away at least 35,000 3g versions of the Gear S2 to new Galaxy S7/S7 Edge owners. It supports Samsung's Messenging app, but Textra is much better.
