"Set as default photo gallery?"
When I want to add a picture to a message I would like the option of choosing a default gallery app instead of just opening to my recent pictures.

I agree. I would like to have the default source be Google Photos->Photos instead of Recent.
Every time I want to send pics from GPhotos it is a multiple click process. To add salt to the wound, I seem to only be able to do one picture at a time. Multiple clicks again to get a 2nd and 3rd photo from GPhotos->Photos.
GPhotos is my backup location so all photos from anywhere are there. They are not necessarily in Recent.
I know I could go to GPhotos app and send, but that's not where I am when I text and want to send a picture. That requires stopping, opening another app, etc, etc. (which is what I have to do now)
