This function is nice and it destroys messages even if not needed.
In SMS, we have two sets of accentuated chars :
- à é è ù for example only consume one char. they do not need to be removed (and it can make a big difference in the meaning of a sentence).
- ê ë ç and capital accentuated chars like À consume more chars. they are the ONLY ones which should be removed.
Could this functionality be updated? Right now, I had to disable it because it created confusion with some of my messages.
