Android auto sending bug

Getting the message "the app needs to be installed or updated" whenever I try to reply to a textra SMS through Android auto. Seems like others are experiencing this as well.

    I have this problem too. Only when I integrate Android Auto in Textra settings and only when replying to messages. I read that Hangouts has to be installed and enabled for Textra, WhatsApp, etc. to work properly with Android Auto. I'll try that, but WhatsApp works perfectly without it.
