Pro version not ad-free?
Textra is a great texting app. Today I sent a link to a Microsoft site to a friend and got a Microsoft ad appended to the end of the message. I do of course have the Pro version of the app which I thought was ad-free. This does not appear to be so. What's the point of a Pro version?

I see this is a post from 2017, but there was no comment on this to clarify... There is an option to load a snap shot of a url when included in a message. I know the newest version (in Mar 2021) further breaks down the option between incoming & outgoing, or just incoming messages. I think what this user saw was not an Ad, but rather a snapshot of the url that they sent to someone via text. I have the option turned off in the free version to not show these, I'm assuming that it is there in the Pro version as well. The Ads in Textra are in the main conversation list only (at least on my Android 11 Samsung).
Hope this helps anyone else reading through these messages -
