It would be nice to have an option that allows you to prevent the phone from notifying you 4 separate times in under 4 seconds when somebody decides to chop up a text into parts. An example would be when someone has a typo in the first text and immediately sends you a correction. The phone notifies you twice. instead, create an option that only notifies you for the first text sent after you had checked the conversation. All proceeding texts you receive before checking the conversation will be silent.

Can't tell you how anxiety inducing it is when I'm trying to do something on my phone and a single person is splitting their sentence up into one word texts. "Soooo...", "like", "what are you up to?", "if you don't mind me asking". All of these sent as separate texts before I even get a chance to respond.
