Google Messenger does this for example.

When trying to share something like a photo from the phone's gallery, a gif from tenor, or a bitmoji... When selecting textra as the medium to share the attachment, the consequent pop up you're provided with is a list of all your contacts or your favorite contacts. This makes it EXTREMELY difficult to send to group messages.

It would be nice to see a function like Google Messenger in which the pop up is instead a list of all of your message threads, so you can select which thread to add the attachment to. This is extremely useful for group message threads.
