Mark this at the bottom of the priority list, but just an idea. It looks like the app's icon is for a 1080p screen, and appears slightly fuzzier than other icons on my phone's 1440p screen. I could be wrong, but that's just my observation. Maybe the icon isn't a vector or just doesn't have higher resolution options or something?
