So it drives me crazy how some people will send you 3 texts in a row. Sometimes more, usually brief. we need a way to have multiple messages sent from the same person within a brief time come through as one message. please!

👍App would merge messages to:
•Hey
What's up!?

Did you see that YouTube video yet?(5min ago)

less notifications to drive people crazy from annoying and impatient people. This could easily be applied in a similar way to how an "outbox" works for email. Hold for a period of time before sending.

One quick simplified way to make this happen is to add a setting to not notify within a set time from the same person.
Example:
When the same contact sends a message within XXminutes, do not make notification tone until XXminutes from last message.

so I get 1 initial text notification, then within 5 minutes if I get any more messages I don't get another text notification until 5minutes after the last message received by that person.
