download whole conversation history

my mom recently died and i was hoping that textra could add a feature wherein i can download a whole conversation and just keep a copy of it. i just want to keep the conversation i had with my mom so i can read even after i change to a new phone. thanks.

Long press the conversation (say Mum) in conversation list. Then dotdotdot (top right) > Share as Email.

This doesn't seem to send you the whole conversation only the part recent enough for Textra to show it to you, how do we see older messages from the same person?
