When I'm texting at work it is very annoying if my phone is constantly ringing for sms or buzzing on vibrate. I have "turn on screen" turned off because of past experiences when my phone dismissed my notifications or repyed with nonsense when in pocket...
But when I'm in office I have phone in front of me on the table and I see if something is going on. Constantly turning on and off this function "turn in screen" is a bit redundant when you can only add on more option to textra setting fot "turn on screen" on silent. :-)
