My Samsung phone running Oreo has a nice permissions monitor to let you know if an app is being sketchy. However, it's on by default for Textra. I don't want to know every time it detects Textra using SMS - it's a texting app. I told it to use SMS. Easy enough to turn it off or just turn off SMS monitoring, whatever. Straightforward.

The bug is that every time Textra updates, the monitor settings are all back on again. Small bug, but it's annoying to have to go back in and set the toggles for every update when every other app seems to remember the settings through updates.
