If there's a word I want to capitalize after I type it; or Textra doesn't capitalize a word that should be capitalized; or it capitalizes a word that shouldn't be, I'd like to be able to place my cursor at either the beginning or end of a word and have the shift-key toggle the initial letter case. If the first letter is capitalized, tap once tomake it lower case; if it's not capitalized, tap the shift-key once to capitalize it. Double-tap the shift key to change the case of the whole word. iMessage sort of behaves like this, although I think it learns to do this through an individual's use. You could probably create a settings switch to enable this behavior. please make it independent of the keyboard, because I use gBoard; it works better for me.
