I would love to see more customization options throughout the app. Esp things like more/custom fonts, set transparency levels for backgrounds, message bubbles, etc.
I really like the option in FB messenger to be able to use gradients on the message bubbles. It really looks sweet when using blacked out/ dark themes. It just makes everything "POP"!
Wud also like more custom notification icons that u can set for each contact. What we currently have is a start but more wud be better. Or an even BETTER option wud be to let US choose our own! Either by letting us choose a pic from out phone, or my fav, letting us choose icons from other icon sets such as the ones u can buy in the play store for 3rd party launchers. I have 10's of thousands of these and hundreds of sets so I wud love to be able to use the icons I own (which by the way are .png files), throughout different parts of Textra!
A side note for the future: It wud be cool if one day the Textra Bot actually became "AI smart" . Be able to carry a convo with it, make it useful/helpful and able to use it more like Google Assistant, etc. Or, u cud just allow integration with onboard assistants already present such as Bixby, Google Assistant, Cortana, etc. All the bot currently does is... well, nothing. such a waste...
I'm basically a huge fan of being able to customize every single aspect of an app down to the smallest details, ESP if it's one I've purchased! I also would enjoy being able to create & save my own "themes" and share them with other members who own Textra Pro. That way if your not particularly artistic, u wud still have a wide choice of nice themes created by other users. Hell, u cud take it a step further and even give the option for certain themes/ theme makers to sell thier nicer, complete themes as well and the Textra Creators shud also get a % of those themes being sold. That wud be a win-win for everyone!
