    There's an app called, coincidentally, SMS Backup & Restore which does just that. You can back up to Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, and/or locally. It can be for SMS and/or MMS messages, as well as all or only specific contacts. It doesn't support RCS messages, but neither does Textra.
