Textra really sets itself apart from other apps by allowing users to choose the emoji style they see in the app. I often set mine to Apple emojis so that I know what the emoji style will look like for my iPhone friends when I send them a message.

It would be amazing if emoji styles could be selected for different conversations. That way, I could select the emoji style for the type of phone each contact has. Since some emoji styles are so different that the appearance may alter the meaning, I think it would be a great feature to allow users the option to know exactly what the other person sees or meant by matching their emoji style.
