I love TEXTRA, don't get me wrong. My major complaint is that the process of attaching a photo is quite cumbersome. Once you tap the plus sign, the menu that opens is lengthy and difficult to navigate. There needs to be a way to manage settings so that Textra will open directly to the location best suited to individual users. For myself, I would prefer that the gallery app of my choice be what I see first when trying to attach a photo. Unfortunately by default TEXTRA will open to the download location, and then I need to navigate to the gallery app of my choice to find the photo. This process takes anywhere between four and five steps. Definitely an annoying aspect of what otherwise is one of the best messaging apps available. I have contacted the support department and have received little assistance with requests for multiple screenshots and more information (despite describing my concerns in great detail). The outcome has been completely unsatisfactory.
