Please add a feature to name group text messages!!!

Search feature does not work

When tapping "+" for new message, and when you enter the search bar for adding the contact you want to receive the message, you need to write 3 letters or more for the search engine to find anything relevant. Writing the first and second letter of the contact name pretty much shows the whole contact list.

iMessage does this very well and have done so for a while. Please get it fixed and you have the best messaging app out there. :) Thanks.

still can't search by contact. much more important than searching for words in a message. can you make this happen

Search is great! One comment: in Greece (at least) we use the "Compact SMS messages" options so in most messages characters like, for example "O" are latin even in greek text.

Unfortunately, if I write something to search for, I usually write all in Greek. So it would be useful (especially if the option to use "Compact SMS messages" is activated), to search for both Unicode and non-Unicode characters, or, in other words, to search for both the original and the "compacted" text.

Really glad you guys worked on this, but you can't call it "complete" if the search function doesn't include contact names. That's almost the only thing I search in a message list.

Appreciate the effort, but this (long overdue) solution *really* doesn't fit the bill. Calling this item "complete" is not heartening.

great start with the search feature. only issue is that contact name aren't showing up in search. so if I search for mike it will find any message text with mike but wont list any messages sent to a contact named Mike.

Version 2.1 is great. Please introduce 'Search' feature. Textra will become #1

yes pls add the search functionality... i had to switch to 8sms and i hate the interface but the search functionality is just too important
