Currently to delete single messages require three actions. Swipe, tap trash can one, tap trash can again. Whilst some people may like this level of tipple could bfirmatiob, for many it's a nuisance.
I suggest making the delete actions optional. Such as, 1. Swipe message right, and it deletes, 2l swipe right and tap trashcan once, 3) or the current method, of swipe right, then tap trashcan twice.

Personally, I want to just swipe and it's deleted. It would be so much quicker and perfectly fine.
