Have really liked this app but would greatly appreciate if you'd add blocking capabilities. I just returned from Europe and while there, received (and had to pay for) several spam messages :( One other item on my wish list is being able to archive and save previous texts from certain people. It seems I either need to keep the previous conversations visible or erase them completely. Please correct me if either of these features is already available. Thanks from someone otherwise quite happy with Textra!

hangouts blocks texts for the nexus 5. we need this on textra because hangouts is horrible. please add this feature.

Agreed. Totally happy with Textra except for this. I'll sadly have to use an app with blocking until Textra gets it.
