    I love this feature in my Gmail app... I do like the current way to delete though. But would be nice to have the option to choose

    no, please, don't do that. it leads to many mistakes and can spoil UI responsiveness if implemented as terribly as in Evolve SMS...

    must have confirmation, and possibly have to swipe to side and hold for a bit otherwise accidents are going to happen all the time. this is not for notifications.. I love how the swipe there marks it as read

    swipe left to delete the whole conversation, and right to delete the last message.

    Delete to right and archive in the left side?? Could be even better :)
