Easier identification of messages in group texts
Currently when messages are received through MMS they are denoted by the name at the top of the message. It would be nice if colors could be applied to different contacts or the use of contact pictures when a message is received.
This could be a setting at a Contact level or a global setting to use the Contact's picture instead of their name.

I would like to HEAR the different notifcations in a GROUP message as well

I think this is a killer feature. As useful as showing a contact photo with the message from the contact. Why is this not on the top 10 ideas?

Or allow different colors for different people in group messages

Seems like child's play, this really needs to be added.

This really needs to happen, it's a pain to have large group chats and everyone is the same color

Added a comment on another request, but I'll reiterate: I really think that the individual contact colors I select should carry over to groups (reference Anonymous commented · February 24, 2015 00:09). I also think having the option for incoming profile pictures on group messages would be fantastic (reference pother commented · August 23, 2014 14:55).

Yes, please implement this. Different bubble colors for each contact would be amazing!

I literally just wrote the same idea. Haha! Good to know I'm not the only one who would like this.

I think the way that Messenger (by Google) does it is perfect. They have a color for each contact. This makes it really easy to denote who said what.

I think the profile pic would be the more practical option. But only for Group; I like the individual conversations to remain the same.
