Copy and paste of text in sms
Would like to know if you can add copy and paste from SMS? Love the app but find if I need to copy text or address from messages I have to go back to the messaging app for that functionality. For example if I need to copy a number for an email or something I have to go back to stock.
Rolling out in release v3.25 now. If you cannot wait, please email developer@textra.me

Probably just have the option appear when you click on the message as "select text"

Need to be able to select specific text in a message not the entire message. About to delete this app.

The ability to highlight & copy a small, select portion of a text seems like such a basic, common-sense need. I can't understand why this function. wouldn't simply be a given on any messaging app..?
I rarely need to copy an entire msg, but I *frequently* have to copy a phone no., an address, a name, a url, etc. Being forced to copy the entire msg, paste it, & then edit out all the unnecessary text is awkward and a total waste of time. Please add this functionality SOON!

I agree with others down in the comments, copy and paste of a selection of text would be a whole lot more convenient compared to right now where the whole message has to be copied

This would be very useful. This is why I miss my Note, you can select any text with your SPen .
Please allow highlighting any part of the message... Ex: phone number or email within text

If you just tap on the message once it gives you the option to copy it.

It's an awesome app, but mentioned functionality is an everyday need. It would be great if you can provide it.

I regret paying for this app only because of this functionality missing. Its common sense!

Copying part of a text message (not the entire message) would be extremely useful!

Copy and paste a selection of text! Please!!! This would be such a great app with this element, I'd even buy the pro version... no way without this most basic of basic of features. Copy entire message only is pointless, useless and frankly annoying! Apart from that, I love it and it does everything else so well!

Seriously though! Sometimes I only want to copy a few words in the middle of the text instead of the whole thing! A "partial selection" feature or something would be nice.

This is currently the only thing stopping me from upgrading to pro.

I'd LOVE to see this in. I'd gladly swap copy/pasting full messages to copy/pasting sections of text.

Copy and paste would be wonderful, sometimes I take text from previous messages, web pages, and even notepad documents. Definitely +1 for this

I went hunting for a new text app precisely because the native messaging app allowed me to copy whole messages, but wouldn't allow me to copy just part of a message. If someone writes, "Can't wait to see you next week! We're going to have so much fun. Don't forget to bring your costume! The address is 111 first street. The buzzer doesn't work, so knock," I need to be able to copy just the address and paste it in a calendar event. It's silly to have to copy and paste the whole message, then delete the parts you don't need.
