It boggles the mind why this isn't an option. Practically every SMS has photos next to message bubbles, Textra is the exception. ChompSMS offers this as an option that can be turned on and off. Why not Textra? The fact that Delicious makes both ChompSMS and Textra makes this even more mind-boggling. Combine the features of Textra and ChompSMS and you'd have the ultimate SMS app.

I love the app but miss even my own contact picture next to my own text responses. Pics are easy to see and good for screen shot sharing.

Chompsms have something similar with the initials at the side of each text sent so you know who sent what, this would make the app complete.

At least make the contact picture in the top right corner 2-3 times larger. It's tiny. I like seeing who I'm talking to.

At least make it an option like other apps have. especially in group conversations, it makes it so much easier to quickly see who sent the message (instead of just reading the tiny print name)

And, I can only repeat what has been said already:
"Bad idea. It takes a lot of screen on small devices, and it's unusefull. I like this app because it's clean and simple"

I HATE contact photos next to the messages, especially that they consumes a lot of space on smaller screens (I mean: on every screen smaller than recently popular 5,5" monsters)

I feel like this would add overhead, unnecessarily slowing down the app. I got this app because it is insanely fast, and lightweight.

Adding the option to show the contact's picture next to each text bubble would make this app the hands down best sms app out there. Its the only glaring thing its missing. Please add the option!!
