    Please ad this option. It is very useful!! There is no reason why it shouldn't exist. Even standart sms app has it :(

    I came here to suggest this. It would be great for quickly differentiating between multiple people in a group messaging thread.

    This would be great, other apps have it and look similar to Textra, but none have photos and "auto enable mobile data for mms," which is absolutely necessary.
    So getting an option to have photos next to messages would be cool.
    When Implemented, I would also like to see there be am option to only have photos in group messages. When texting just one person you don't really need to see their face at every message.

    I really tried to find a different app that would allow me to see pictures next to the message and send group mms messages while being on wifi on tmobile (tmobile has a problem with that...). Couldn't find another app that handles the issue as well as textra does. So please, add pictures. When reading group messages it is annoying to have to look at the names instead of automatically knowing who it is because of the pictures

    Bad idea. It takes a lot of screen on small devices, and it's unusefull. I like this app because it's clean and simple.
    If you are going to implement this feature please add an option to disable it

    absolutely agree - this option is "must have" feature. It could look the same size and style it looks at messages list screen. I think it will be helpful even in personal chats

    this is needed asap. not as much for individual texts, although that would be nice, but group texts are very difficult to see who sent the message. simple round pic next to each text (eg hangouts)

    Do this to make this the perfect app, imo
