I'm curious about this idea....on the regular sms app that came with the lg g4 I could put my contacts photos in the background of the sms as well as the contact photo next to the unopened sms. Will I be able to do that with this new idea that was posted?

Aye bud make sure your apn settings match and are the same in your settings and in textra.

Id like to have this as well, and it doesn't really seem like its a feature. To me that is the way it seems to have been done on other messengers for years now, it the norm.It would be nice to at least have that as an iption in settings. Please fix it, ty

Please make this optional, not everyone wants this. And if I have to see the photo please only show the contacts photo and not my own, really no need to see your own photo as well.

Should be an option not required because some people want it and some don't.

I'm so glad this hasn't been implemented yet! Maybe for MMS, but definitely not for SMS. I know who I'm talking to. Their picture is at the top just in case I forget. I don't need/want their face (or the letter of their first name) next to each and every comment.
