How can I migrate Zimbra to Gmail without losing emails?

When I needed to migrate Zimbra to Gmail, my biggest concern was losing emails, attachments, or folder structure. After searching for options, I came across the SysInfo IMAP Backup Tool. Since Zimbra supports IMAP, I simply connected my Zimbra account through IMAP in the software and logged in. The tool displayed all mailbox folders in a preview, which made it easy to select what I wanted to transfer. Then I chose Gmail as the destination and started the process. The migration completed smoothly while keeping all emails, attachments, and folders intact. It also had options like date filters and duplicate removal, which helped make the migrate Zimbra to Gmail process much easier and organized.

    If you exclusively use manual methods, moving emails from Zimbra to Gmail can be hard. There is no simple one-click approach to move everything because Zimbra keeps data in its own format, while Gmail works over IMAP. Setting up IMAP accounts in an email client by hand, for example, can take a long time, require technical knowledge and can cause emails to go missing, folders to break or attachments to be missed.

    When I had to move a Zimbra mailbox to Gmail, I had the same problem. After trying to sync manually, I saw that transfers were taking longer and not all of the data was being sent, especially with big mailboxes. After that, I used GainTools Cloud Importer, which made the move go much more smoothly. It linked seamlessly to both accounts and moved all of the emails without losing any data.
