Pure Black Theme

Although I love Dark theme, it only saves battery on LCD and Oled screens. I would really like to see a pure or "true" black theme for Textra. This would save battery by shutting off pixels that display true black, such as the notification bar in stock Android 4.3.

The pure black is displayed inside the blue box. This color on Amoled screens actually shuts off the individual pixels, and thus saves battery. This could result in much less power consumption on Amoled devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 or the Samsung Galaxy S3. There are various other phones that also use Amoled technology.

    A pure black theme in Textra would be a great addition for AMOLED screens like those on the Samsung Galaxy S4 or S3.     I'm not sure why this isn't marked as included, Textra has this, I'm using it on my Moto X 2014. It has an AMOLED screen and Textra does not light up the background pixels while using the Black theme.

    It's killing me to not have pure black! Textra is the best SMS app I've ever used, but their idea of 'pure black' is charcoal grey and that is annoying. Please give us pure black as a theme color, Textra!

    AMOLED screens like the ones in my phone benefit greatly from this. I highly support this enhancement.
