How to Backup Multiple Office 365 Accounts Using a CSV File?
Enterprise-scale backup projects become significantly more manageable when there is a way to backup multiple Office 365 accounts using a CSV file, rather than authenticating and exporting each mailbox individually through repeated manual logins. Native eDiscovery Content Search supports selecting multiple mailboxes within a single search, but the process still requires manually choosing each user, group, or team through the search interface rather than bulk-importing account details from a prepared list. PowerShell scripting can technically loop through multiple mailboxes, but writing and testing such scripts demands technical expertise that many organizations lack in-house, and a single incorrect command risks disrupting the entire backup operation across all targeted accounts. The SysInfo Office 365 Export Tool addresses bulk backup through its Assign Impersonation feature, allowing administrators to import a CSV file containing credentials for multiple user mailboxes and export them together in a single operation. Export destinations include User Mailbox, Online Archive Mailbox, and Public Folder, covering different account types within the same batch process. Remove Duplicates based on To, From, Subject, and Body keeps the resulting PST files clean across all accounts. Compatible with all Windows versions including Windows 11.
