Disable swipe gestures

Please give us the option to disable swipe gestures within Textra settings - something like that should never be forced upon any user. Thank you.

Yes, please allow us to disable swipe gestures!! I just accidentally deleted a thread and I don't know which one got deleted...how was this a good idea?

I'm sure I've disabled this before, and now I can't find the option in Settings. This is ludicrous, why would you force this on your users???
