Textra is great on optimizing the space used and not slowing down from old texts - but I have been switching to another app (stock one samsung) for a few days to allow it to delete messages older than X to clear the 2+GB database of texts textra accumulates. This for me is a space issue.

And the fact that textra can't even acknowledge the request? Horrible customer service.

How is this not a feature? I have the paid version but will request a refund. Taking up too much space. The stock app does this.

Textra is taking up nearly 8gb of space on my phone. Ridiculous. No one has time to manually remove messages and only a select few want to delete all of their conversations with people. Please for the love of God update with this feature!

K need this asap. Limits on older texts. I'm at like 3.6.gb. Wtf

I want this, the stock app on the S7 edge gives you the option to set a limit of saving the last 200 sms, 20 sms, 30 photos, or something like that for each convo, automatically deletes the oldest when those limits are reached.
