Option to delete automaticaly messages when a number set in settings is reached

    Yes, please. This functionality would be very useful for freeing up space by automatically deleting old, unnecessary messages.

    This should be done. Right now Textra is at 2.8Gb of storage space. Maybe the option to do "Older than X days/weeks/months" and get granular with it.
    OR
    "More than X,XXX SMS/MMS messages per convo" type of deal.
    Either one, I'm all for.

    I think this feature was deleted in version 3.5 update. Please bring back! I don't like having 3 months of text messages hogging my storage. I have a small amount of storage w/no sd card option. Just a good old number of text messages per conversation limit.
    Can you put a switch on it for those that don't like this option...? Not sure how hard it is to do....

    It would be nice if we could decide on a set number to delete the old texts. I like keeping them but my memory can only handle so much.

    Please do not make it 'auto delete for old messages', if you do, make it a function that is off as the default, let the user decide.
    Btw, love the app ☺

    The ideal way would he to set # of sms and mms per conversation. So we can choose the number of pictures etc that can stay

    Just had to do all kinds of black magic to delete messages older than x using a different app because textra storage was over 3 gigs. This feature is a MUST. Just bought pro, I have faith you guys will get this done.
