Textra was recommended to me by a friend. I really love it because of the cancel send message function and the customize themes and colors. But there is room for improvement. I hope that viewing timestamps can be done automatically and does not need to swipe right or click the information icon when clicking the bubble. Because sometimes the timestamp that is "automatically seen" (no need to swipe right or click info icon) can be misleading to be the time for the succeeding or previous messages. See image attached, some messages have timestamp automatically while some don't, it can be misleading if you are in a hurry or in a lot of stress.

I have tried other apps but I still go back to you all but would like the time stamps about each message.

I absolutely love this app but wish there were time stamps above instead of having to slide over.

I love how other texting apps that use the time stamps to be posted above. I wish you guys did it.

Yes, I also agree this should be added. This topic is the focus of other feedback threads. One thread says this is complete although it has not been addressed. I hope it makes it into the app. Seems like a simple thing.

I think it would be a big waste of space and ruin the minimal look of the app. its just a swipe away if you want it. I suppose if its an option you can toggle in the settings it would be nice for some people. But I really like the current method. Keeps it looking clean until you need to see it.

I think the requestor wants the ability to have timestamps displayed at all times without constantly having to swipe to make them appear. this is what I want to see done. it should be an option.

Yup. can't believe this is not standard. it's the one BIG flaw in this otherwise great app. is it working for some?

While swiping left does show you the time. I would much prefer to see the time posted there all the time.

I completely agree. I find it extremely troubling that I cannot tell exactly when a text came in. This should be standard on all apps.
