Thank you for this helpful app, it's allowed my group messages to work properly on my HTC One m7. If this video compression problem could be addressed, on the description for Textra on Google Play, it says
"Comes with a bunch of great features......and auto video compression."
Even when I send a short 10 second video, I receive a message that the text didn't go through because it exceeds the message size limit. I hope this is helpful.

AWSOME if this were done. I have to send my photos and video from the stock app and it is a pain to switch back in forth. Almost considered dumping tetra because of this

Yes, this is annoying that they're so many sms apps in the play store and none do this simple task. It's beyond me. Please add and then I will pay for the app.

I've been wondering this for awhile, and now i know, cause i was trying to add, a vid to Textra, which i love for all things, other than this, and when i would click attachments, the vids would not show up. But using the stock s6 app, it says its to big, and will resize it for you. I cant believe they dont do this, especially wiht a paid app. Needs to be done for both Vids and pics!!! C'mon man!!!

How do you attach a file?

Yes please, it's the only major hole this application has. Videos don't even show up in my list of attachments, I guess because they're too big. They should show up and be compressed when sent like other messaging apps.

Yes. The stock samsung messenger app has this, and until Textra does, it won't match the basic feature set of standard. Apple stock messenger also does this

Would definitely like this feature added
