    This would be an excellent feature, that all the other main SMS apps have, and Textra is sorely lacking.

    i just had the most embarrassing situation due to a text accidentally sent to the wrong person. a delay with cancel option would be fantastic!

    This app is amazing and I decided to switch from go sms to textra, and the only thing I noticed that go sms had on this app was the delay

    I agree this is useful. I used it a lot in GoSms until that app jumped the shark. Either use configurable or "auto based on message length" works (makes delay longer for longer messages)

    Is it too difficult to proofread before sending?

    Also an option to turn it off when we need messages to be sent immediately.
