    This really needs to be addressed. It sucks to not be supported in this app I paid for but its supported in free apps.

    I like Textra other than this issue of not compressing video and pictures

    This is a heavily used feature, when I used Handcent. Anything more than 8mp,uncompresssd is too much. I use no less than 12mp, 95% of the time.
    A choice of how extensive compression is would be nice, too.

    It would be precious.
    Many pictures are too heavy for MMS Max size that recipient never get it.
    Manually compression is boring.

    Would be great for pics and GIFS. Don't know how difficult it would be to implement but ios does this and would be nifty.
