Have an option to turn off emoticons being turned into emojis in messaging.
In messages emoticons such as :) are turned into emojis and there's no way to stop it.

I can't stand emojis. They are annoying and cheesy. As cheesy as the word cheesy. Please make an option to turn them off so I don't have to switch texting apps.

I'm switching to a different texting client because of this. Sorry developers, but you need to take care of your users' needs before you start adding more bullshit features.
