I'm also not a fan of the Android L desogn and am currently reverying to 1.84 because that is way nicer and has far more features.

The new design is visually aggressive with too much colour and too big bubbles. White fonts in more or less flashy bubbles make texts lose the readability they had before version 2.0 . This made me downgrade to 1.84 .
